my daughter and my baby son see u bowzer just friday afternoon and u was talking to them on the estate
u wished my little boy happy birthday for the next day and told my niece she was cute.
my older son was with u chilling later on in the day
and then all of a sudden 10.30 -11.00 its going round the estate that u was gunned down.
what is this place coming to.my little boy and my family spent his birthday at garvey to lay flowers to show respect

My heart grieves yet again for another life lost to senseless crime. How sad that I had not met you but have since found out that you kept my nephew safe, made sure he got home if you saw him out late at night, for that i give you thanks. I have spent the past few days in a daze trying to understand what is happening in our community. Family of Nathan, keep strong, your son, cousin, brother, boyfriend was a blessing to you all. RIP (you are in a better place)

Nathan, ur missed by many. I went to your house yesterday, ur mum is copin very well. I dont think i would have been able too though. Your sister, girlfriend (baby mother), son and mother are lost without u. Its so sad that your gone.
You were such a good person. Nobody can stop talkin about u and everyone has something good to say about u too. Boii, ur missed bare. To think it was not long ago i saw u walkin down da road. I was in that Chicago Pizza place with one of my gyals (also a close friend of urs) and my god-daughter. You asked how she was doin and that. Thats the last memory i have of u.
I've still got to break the news to someone else who was close to u but havent been able too because he's not in the country. When i tell him, my gosh! It will hurt him.
Your on the tip of everyones tounge, i've spoken to bare people who were in ur class at Warwick Park. Its mad how many connections i've got to you. My boyfriends friend, friend of my people that went to your school and were in the same class, u were like an older to my cousin, my older cousins bredin, bredrin to all those i know from Somerleyton, Loughborough etc etc, theres more ways but its long goin into it.
I remember we had a few words on the phone and that too.

Mum - keep strong. I saw u yday and couldnt believe how well u were coping. That stupid man from the Daily Mirror tried to get a story from u but the look u gave him sent him away.
Sis - keep strong, you've got too for mums sake. I know its goin to be hard but if u all stick together, you will be ok.
Baby mother - you got his younger to grow. Its gonna be hard but at least you've still got a connection to him. Stay bless girl. Keep your head up.

Why
I offer my sincere condolences to Nathan's family and friends. I can't imagine the pain and grief you must be going through right now. Another young life taken and for what??? I've left too many messages in the last 7 months on this website for our young people who have been killed - please, please, stop these senseless killings. Nathan, I know how much you're going to be missed by those who loved you and how much they wish you were still with them, however, you are now in a better place, free from harm. Rest easy Nathanx
what happened?
Nathan was a very close friend of my. The last time i spoke to him, he told me 'dennis keep up the good work and keep yourself in college. He was just like a older brother to me, we all loved him and we will never forget him. Nathan i thank you for all the help you've given me. I respected you and still do.

Nathan was a well known, loved and respected member of the Moorlands community. Shot in a moment of rage over something he had nothing to do with.
Nathan was one of the original X-it programme members two years ago and during his time with us plunged into the programme with spirit. We were so pleased to have him as despite his quiet and polite demeanour we knew that he was a leader amongst his peers. A strong person whose calming influence we came to rely on.
As a member of the Ebony horse club he was one of their most talented horse riders, and he went onto work for them as a youth worker. Nathan was just at the start of a career putting his energy into his community.
Yesterday the sorrow that engulfed the Moorlands was so tangible you could almost touch it. His family and friends engulfed in grief. There are many people out there who can say so much more than I about Nathan.. so I shall leave them to say it.
But for me I shall continue to do my best to support the young people in Brixton and will miss you very much.
